Alexey Sokolov is a well-known classical saxophone player from Russia. He started his musical journey when he was 4 years old attending his first music school in St. Petersburg, where he studied for 9 years. In 2003, he moved on to a music college for 5 years during which he won International competitions, played with the Russian National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and was sponsored by the German, Gartow Stiftung Association. Today Alexey has become immersed in contemporary music at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He is currently writing and performing his own lively and catchy instrumental music.
